A Stunning Oregon Proposal at Paulina Peak

If you’ve been looking for the perfect place to plan an Oregon proposal, you’re in the right place. Paulina Peak is located in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument located near Bend, OR. It’s a beautiful overlook that has an INSANE view of the Bend area and the entire monument. I had the absolute pleasure of helping Connor plan an extravagant yet intimate proposal for his girlfriend of six years, Laura. It was an unforgettable experience and a gorgeous backdrop for such a special moment.

Operation Plan the Oregon Proposal

Connor reached out to me on Instagram and said that he and his girlfriend were going to be in Bend and he was wanting to propose somewhere beautiful while they were there. After looking at a few different lakes, hiking trails, ect we ended up choosing Paulina Peak, known for its breathtaking views.

Cue the Romance

My boyfriend and I got there early so I could scout of the perfect spot for Connor to get down on one knee. I sent Connor a picture of what we were wearing and what our car looked like. I told him that as soon as I saw his car come up, we would nonchalantly move out of the spot once he saw where we were standing. Once they got out of their car, my boyfriend and I pretended like we were tourists taking pictures of the scenery, when in fact I was zeroed in on Connor and Laura. Connor wasted no time and before we knew it, Laura had a GORGEOUS rock on her hand! Tears were shed, laughs were had, and even some “oooos and ahhhhhs” from a cute elderly couple that had saw the engagement!

Picnic to Celebrate

Following the magical moment, Connor and Laura celebrated with a picnic they had packed, complete with hummus, champagne, and other yummy snacks. It was a fantastic way for them to cherish the moment, enjoy the view and be fully present together!
