Reconnecting and Reminiscing

After not seeing Rhyanne for a year or two, I made the six-hour drive from Corvallis to join her for the shoot and a nostalgic sleepover. Driving through central Washington was a breathtaking experience, and catching up with Rhyanne felt like reliving the good old days. We reminisced about the past and marveled at how far we’ve come the whole time she got ready for their session.

Capturing Modern Engagement Pictures Amidst the Fog

Heading out on HWY 17 towards the frozen lakes, we found the perfect turnoff point for part of their session. We drove around a little later and soaked in the beauty of the surroundings before returning home for dinner and fun photos in their newly renovated kitchen. It was the perfect day that ended with heartfelt conversations in the kitchen before heading to bed.

Witnessing Love in its Purest Form

I grew up with Rhyanne, from kindergarten through high school. So seeing her so in love with the man of her dreams, who treats her so lovingly was so wholesome to witness. It was my first time meeting Zac, but just from the time spent with him, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect guy for Rhy. The way he effortlessly embraces her goofiness and provides her with a sense of calmness that we all need, is huge.

Full Circle Moments

The entire experience felt like a full-circle moment. Especially because we are both in our engagement seasons and planning our own weddings! I feel blessed to be able to be a part of Rhy and Zac’s wedding day in July and get to capture their start of married life. There’s nothing cooler than that to me!
