As a documentary style wedding photographer, I have the privilege of witnessing and capturing the most intimate, emotional, and genuine moments on a couple’s special day. While posed portraits certainly have their place in wedding photography, there’s something so special about the candid moments in between, the moments that tell the real story of a wedding. There were so many of these beautiful moments at Courtlyn and Sam’s outdoor wedding that completely melted my heart.

How They Met

“One day he messaged me on Facebook and he never stopped. We technically did go to high school together and he is one of my brother’s friends, but we really didn’t talk until a few years after we had both graduated.” C + S were so sweet! They were shy, yet really made sure to make their wedding day all about them as a couple and what brought them joy in their lives! And I am SO here for that!
